Hey H,

Looks to me like you ougha get your own sex advice site goin'!

You clearly have way more information to offer than I do. You also have a much better, more comprehensive and a superior presentation style too. You are kind where I am not. You have compassion where I have none. I encourage you to look into this ASAP. I could then refer a whole bunch of folks to you for their remedial sex education. You'll be amazed at how overwhelmed you'll be in a matter of weeks.

My approach, of course, is to avoid spoon-feed people. Rather I wish to get them to use the brain power they already have. Inevitably, they're gonna have to learn to think clearly on their own, because dr dick won't always be there to hold their hand and figure things out for them.

So, you think that an effective approach to sex education is to make people feel stupid for not already knowing the answers to their questions?

Remarkable.

This is the first time I've visited this site, and wow, "Dr. Dick," that's some attitude you've got on you.

When I was younger, I had a question similar to one of those above. I understand that you feel that makes me stupid, but I do not feel I was stupid; I just needed information about how the body works, which I did not already have.

While you are concerned about being fooled by bogus questions, I've known a couple of other people to genuinely have a couple other of the questions above, as well.

And, the correct answer to the question, how do you contract an STD from someone who doesn't have one, is that in some cases, a person can be a carrier. For example, a male can carry a yeast infection from one female to another, or re-activate it in the same female, without having a yeast infection, himself. To my knowledge, the HIV virus cannot be carried by an uninfected person, but to find out which STD's can be carried without a person testing positive for them or having symptoms, readers here might want to seek out a medical professional who is willing to answer your questions without insulting you.

Also, ways you might have health problems from sex with someone who doesn't have an STD include getting sick from bacteria in their colon, if you're exposed to their anus and feces, and if they are taking medication to which you have a reaction, and you drink their urine.

Thirdly, people should be made aware that for some STD's, a person may be infected but it may not show up on tests for the first few weeks or months. Therefore, before having unprotected sex with a partner you trust enough, it's advisable to wait long enough for both of you to test more than once, in case the first test was too soon after you became exposed.
